How We Work

Speaking Engagement & Workshops

I bring a rich blend of personal, cultural, and professional experience to my speaking engagements. As the voice behind Diaspora Diaries, I share stories that celebrate heritage, identity, and the diverse journeys of diaspora communities. Alongside this, I founded Dear Mamas Circle, a reading and discussion group for mothers of African and Caribbean heritage, where I’ve led meaningful conversations around literature, culture, and contemporary issues.

Through my blogging on lifestyle and heritage, I’ve connected with wide audiences seeking inspiration and belonging. My career as a secondary school teacher in the UK has given me deep insights into education, child development, and supporting young people through their formative years. And as a mother of two grown, successful children, I bring lived experience of the joys and challenges of motherhood.

Whether exploring themes of diaspora identity, motherhood, heritage, or education, I create engaging, relatable, and thought-provoking talks that inspire connection, reflection, and growth.
